They talk honestly about anger toward husbands, childhood trauma, and how unhealed judgments toward our parents get “reaped” in our marriages. Kate shares how her father’s rage showed up later in her reactions to Duncan, and how repentance, forgiveness, and inner healing have changed the way they communicate.
You’ll hear about healthy time-outs, humility (“humility has no worthy opponent”), and learning to say, “When you said this, I felt…” instead of attacking. Dr. Barbara shares about her own journey with Tim, their relational agreements, and what it looks like to do deep 12-step style heart work with Jesus.
